Historic bank hall for SALE 300 m2 in the center of Zvolen. The bank hall is newly refurbished and highly professionally renovated and is waiting for a new owner. On the ground floor in the bank lobby, there is an original reinforced concrete safe the size of a room upstairs. This safe has been renovated and its historical value and especially its functionality have been preserved. The massive iron safe door that closes the safe was made in 1926 in Budapest. Legiobanka is known for its long history. Its name already suggests that the idea for its creation comes from the legionaries, led by General Milan Rastislav Štefánik. This bank was built in 1926 as a building along with 16 apartments. It was designed by the famous Czech architect Jozef Gočár, who also designed the historic post office building in Bratislava. He used elements of the Art Nouveau style. The first opening took place in 1927 and the bank has been operating for decades since that year. During the Second World War, the SNP military staff was housed in the cellars.
This building is unique not only in its historical value but also in its location. It is located in a busy part of Zvolen city center.
Restoration work is currently being completed and the interior can be customized, even for several smaller parts. All interpretations on the ground floor were exchanged to their original size, as at the time of the construction of this bank house in 1923. Legiobanka was created for representational purposes.
